I’m Lyn Macintosh and I’ve been in practice now for over twenty years.

With clinical hypnotherapy, counselling, ego state therapy and NLP I think you’d find working with me of great benefit.

Do you know that lovely Mary Oliver poem that has the following line in it.

“Listen, are you breathing just a little and calling it a life.”

That really resonated with me and has inspired me to help clients to create the changes they want to make and to tap into their resources.

I’m a Fellow and Registered member of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists; Clinical member of the Australian Hypnotherapists’ Association; Clinical member of the Australian Counsellors’ Association.

As an accredited Supervisor for the ASCH and the AHA I have over 25 supervisees and consider this trust an honour.

I have learnt so much from my clients over the years and I know from personal experience how important it is to work with someone you feel comfortable with. Someone you know is trustworthy and discreet.  Someone who has the necessary skills, a degree of empathy and understanding and of course, maintains confidentiality.

When I’m asked what I specialise in, my response is “How long is a piece of string!” Let me just say what I don’t choose to work with and that is those who want to quit smoking. But I have an excellent colleague I refer the smokers too, so all is not lost and the smokers don’t need to feel rejected.
